3D modeling tools can cost a fortune and it's a tricky job choosing the best one for the job you have. That makes open-source software so great: it costs nothing to download and try it out for a few days until you make a decision. Check out Blender, an open-source solution for the 3D modeling issue!
Blender has always been an open-source 3D creation tool for both personal and commercial purposes. It's safe to say that Blender is the whole package as you can do everything from modeling, rigging, animation, testing, rendering, simulation, and motion tracking. There is also a 2D animation tool, image, and video editor.
There are definitely plenty of features, from shading, modeling fluids, particles, and hair. We could continue all day but we definitely recommend you check it out for yourself. You will also be thrilled to see that its file support is awesome. You can import just about any file and don't have to worry if it will be recognized.
Its interface is friendly enough. Of course, it can't look as simple as we might want because of all the features you need to cram on your screen. If you find it confusing at first, you should definitely check out useful Blender video tutorials on their website. Still, many experienced 3D artists and designers have pointed out that Blender is somewhat difficult to learn, even with their experience.
